Guidelines for In-House Photography and Commercial Use

At Pearl Star Hotel Atami, we strive to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all our guests. To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we have established the following guidelines regarding photography, video recording, and their use within the hotel premises.

■ Personal Photography

• Guests are welcome to take photos and videos for personal memories,
while kindly being mindful of other guests’ comfort and privacy.
  We appreciate your cooperation in observing the following guidelines.

■ Areas Where Photography Is Not Permitted

• As a general rule, photography, video recording, live streaming, and social media posting are not permitted in the following areas:
  1. Guest room corridors
  2. Restaurants, bars, club lounge, fitness center, and spa during operating hours
  3. All areas on the 10th floor (including the Infinity Bath, changing rooms, and post-bath relaxation lounge)
  4. Back-of-house and staff-only areas
  5. Locations where other guests are likely to appear in the frame

■ Commercial and Revenue-Generating Use

• For photography or video recording conducted within the hotel for purposes such as monetization, advertising, promotion, or public distribution, prior approval from the hotel is required.
  Examples include, but are not limited to:
monetized content on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, influencer postings, and corporate promotional projects.
  Depending on the nature of the request, we may discuss specific conditions or arrangements individually.
  Please note that unauthorized filming or publication may result in a request for content removal or other appropriate measures.

■ Equipment and Filming Methods

1. Small handheld devices are permitted
2. The use of lighting equipment, tripods, or large-scale filming gear requires prior consultation
3. Please refrain from any filming that may obstruct walkways or compromise the safety of other guests

We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in respecting privacy and maintaining a comfortable environment when taking photos or videos.
